Applied Arts ( A & A ) - Introduction & Scope :

Applied Arts ( A & A ) is another real life application of artistic imagination, expression and creativity by leveraging upon the conventional practices and learnings. This is also an artistic skill arising out of the discipline of humanities & fine arts. Applied Arts ( A & A ) skills have been scientifically proven and established since time immemorial. This has been a consistently developing discipline and an independent emerging industry globally. Applied Arts ( A & A ) attempts to represent different cultures, religions, castes, nations, communities through various means of expressions be it traditional or the contemporary modern ones. Applied Arts ( A & A ) encompasses study of Indian Arts, Western Arts, Eastern Art and other forms of arts types. Also the application of various colours, pastels, oils and water is leveraged to effect creative paintings. Human Body and it's various possible poses are studied, as well as translated into Drawings and Paintings. Product Design, 2D design, 3D design, Head studies, drawings of life & nature are greatly researched upon. Various combinations of colours, pigments and their contrasting features are well touched upon. Colour wheels, colour schemes, specialised print making features on cardboards, papers and clothes are explored through mono prints in one or more colours. Lettering, Calligraphy, Illustrations, Photography, Packaging and Typography are practiced with different means to express aesthetics. Even modern applications of science and technology are leveraged through research into Two dimensional and Three Dimensional designs. Constructions through memory recollections and observations are greatly emphasised. Press layouts, hoardings & posters are built using tenets of Applied Arts ( A & A  ). Cutting it short, good Applied Arts ( A & A ) skills lead to enhanced applied aesthetics and strong artistic expressions. They assist in bringing out deeper insights and penning down an individual's inherent thought process. We should all understand the significance of this creative skill and ensuing open expressions through artistic representations.
